We love hearing from you on our social media platforms, so feel free to post a comment to share your experience or to connect with our active community of Invisalign patients.

Please keep in mind that as a medical device company, we're subject to strict regulation on all social media platforms and communicating about Invisalign or Vivera treatment with the public. As with other medical device companies, compliance with these rules requires us to remove posts or provide clarification where information posted by visitors on this site is inaccurate or is considered by us to be misleading.

To set the stage, here are our rules of engagement in social media:

Whereas Invisalign treatment is a Class II medical device and Vivera retainers are a Class I medical device, both are strictly regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration, which requires that all promotion of Invisalign treatment and Vivera retainers (including those on our Facebook page) be truthful, non-misleading, and fairly balanced. Furthermore, like other device manufacturers, Align is obligated to provide clarification or remove any posts from our Facebook pages that we deem inconsistent with Invisalign clear aligners’ or Vivera retainers’ intended use or are otherwise incorrect or misleading.

We provide information relating to our products Invisalign aligners and Vivera retainers; we do not provide medical advice. Please discuss all medical questions with your healthcare provider.

If you're an Invisalign or Vivera patient, we cannot and will not address or comment on your specific treatment-related questions or issues in this forum. Questions or issues relating to treatment should always be directed to your Invisalign or Vivera provider. We believe the world is a better place with more smiles in it. Play nice or your posts will be removed (e.g., no profanity or defamatory, offensive, abusive or unlawful posts). Please avoid discussions about medical advice you've received from your Invisalign or Vivera provider or other health care professionals. This information should not be shared on our Facebook pages.

We require all participants (experts, endorsers, patients, doctors, etc.) contracted, seeded, incentivized, or in any way compensated by Align Technology, Inc. to disclose their affiliation with us in their posts.

Unless explicitly authorized by us in writing, please do not represent that you have authority to speak on behalf of Align Technology.

Please avoid any unauthorized use of Align Technology's intellectual property, including, but not limited to, logos, trademarks, and copyrights, in any way or manner. Please do not use Align Technology's, Invisalign's, or Vivera’s name in any online identity (e.g., username, screen name, handle, and identifier). This site will be monitored for compliance with these Guidelines.
