WINNER SPOTLIGHT
Meet Nora
Washington
Through the struggles of embracing her own identity as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Nora decided she wanted to be a part of ending the stigma she faced. She established Here N Queer to educate, assist and share resources through social media. Here N Queer has put together an online database with over 475 resources and sends out free kits to queer youth – helping them feel like they belong and get the info they need.
IN NORA'S OWN WORDS
“Through the distribution of virtual and physical resources, Here N Queer hopes to narrow the gap between LGBTQIA+ people and mental health support.”
